I have just spent two days doing a short ride with Claude. We rode 35km from Kigali into the rural villages and over many hills to a lake in a region called Muhazi, to stay at the Marina Beach Resort. On the second day we took a ride along the lake, through many small villages, past lots of different crops and cultivated lands, past many children who regularly wished us a Good Morning, to eventually return back to Kigali. The trip is rustic, dont expect any luxuries in the rural parts of Rwanda, but certainly meaningful. All in all a great experiences
When you meet people from across the World 🌎 who are passionate about cycling you know you can't go wrong. I found Claude through Google and read the reviews. He delivers what he promises and is an awesome guide 👌 I cannot recomend going riding with him any more than "Just do it!" You will not regret the experience and knowledge of a trained local guide who brings enjoyment and expertise to a guided ride. Highly recommended 👌
I met Claude in 2023 during a tour of Rwanda. I had a problem and needed a mechanic and Claude was passing by at the time. I came back to Rwanda with a friend to ride the Twin Lakes route and part of the Congo Nile Trail. Mostly on dirt roads. Claude took care of finding us hotels and accommodation throughout our stay, as well as van transport from Gisenyi. Six days of exceptional cycling in the heart of Rwanda, with many new experiences along the way. Unforgettable!
I was enchanted by this magnificent trip to the land of a thousand hills and very welcoming locals. Claude, our guide, was attentive to our needs and wishes, organising a superb route for us through magnificent landscapes and small villages. It was an incredible change of scenery.
